Proving our impact: we currently measure our results each year and are seeking to provide a more comprehensive evaluation system for our work – we are currently piloting a new evaluation system at Aspire Oxfordshire which will help us develop a common framework demonstrating the value we create for all our stakeholders in the years to come.
Pathways to Success – six step self-assessment for social enterprises tackling homelessness
We recognise the challenge faced by the social enterprises we support in balancing the demands of running a commercial businesses with employing trainees. Following research and consultation with a wide range of practitioners, we are launching a six step self-assessment guide, Pathways to Success, to help them review performance and progress. This new approach is being piloted by a peer-leadership group of social enterprise managers this year. We hope to publish a more detailed assessment tool during 2009 bringing together case studies, stories, tips and ideas from practitioners in the field.
